I'm a data-driven marketer with a decade of experience in product marketing, using various tactics including (but not limited to) content marketing, conversion rate optimization, customer development, demand genration, email marketing, PPC, SEO, and user onboarding.
Marketing isn't something you do to a product - marketing should be part of the product itself. Marketing is a feature. What's remarkable about what you're offering? What would make someone invite their friends, and how can you encourage them to do so?
That's what I like to think about, and it's how I approach marketing. I'm a huge fan of problem solving, experimentation, testing new channels, and using data to make decisions.
In March of 2016, I joined App Press, an app development company based in Indianapolis. As Marketing Director, I'm in charge of all marketing efforts, with a heavy emphasis on data-driven marketing, content marketing, demand generation, and funnel optimization.
I've worked closely with the sales team to qualify and score leads, improve and automate the sales process, and lead a team of designers to create, distribute, and promote marketing collateral.
